August 11th 12th and 13th

Join us for a weekend of camping, partying and watersports at the beach.

This year we have joined up with Buccaneer Sessions to bring you the biggest line up of brands Bands and DJs we have ever had. Check out the latest kite , wing and SUP demo kit and try it out on one of the many beautiful North devon beaches close to our site.

The Woolacombe Weekender is all about relaxing and having fun with old friends and making new ones doing the sports we love.

There is no official program for the weekend as the weather plays such an important part in the sports we enjoy.

Demo locations will be announced both on our facebook page and on the Buccaneer app over the weekend.

While most of our guests will spend the days at the beach, the area offers lots of oportunities for other activities such as surfing, coasteering, kayaking, mountain biking, sea fishing, trips to Lundy Island and running or walking the South West Coastal Path.

In the evening its  back to camp for campfires, music and partying.

THE SITE

The site is at the top of the valley above Woolacombe. We have sole use of this site all weekend and there will be security on site all weekend.
The campsite is open for Guests from 12pm Friday until 6pm Sunday.

Site Facilities

The site will have toilets and facilities to empty chemical toilets but there are NO SHOWERS

The site has several drinking water taps.

We will have generators on site to power lighting and sound systems but we are not able to offer electric hook up.

If you wish to use your own generator you are more than welcome, but you will be camped in an area reserved for generator users and may not be camped with your friends.

We will be erecting several marquees to cope with the glorious sunshine we have ordered for the weekend. The marquees will have more than enough space to provide shelter from the traditional August weather.

Music from a team of DJs and live acts will be hosted in the event marquee during the evening

The site is part of a working farm so we ask you all to keep to the very few rules we have to help us ” leave no trace” and to ensure we all have a great weekend.

CAMPING

The ticket price includes your camping/campervan pass

There is loads of room for camping but we ask you to keep a five meter gap between tents/campervans in case of fire. You are free to camp wherever you like in the field but pick your spot wisely.

We will have a quiet area for those of you who fancy an early night or have young families. We will also have a naughty area for those of you who believe sleeping is cheating. Please ask one of the crew when you arrive for the best spot to suit your needs.

Caravans and motor homes are welcome, however,  the access to the field is quite tight so if your vehicle is bigger than a Sprinter or Crafter please get in touch with us before you arrive.

DOGS

Dogs are welcome on site but please be aware we are camped on farm land and livestock is likely to be in the surounding fields, also other dogs and young children will be at the event. Dog owners are expected to clean up after their animals.

As dog owners you know if your dog can be trusted but any issues with dogs will be delt with swiftly and they will be asked to leave.

Please keep your dog on a lead in the camping and entertainment areas.

Please use the dog bins provided across the site.

Rubbish

Recycling bins will be provided on site for PLASTIC BOTTLES, GLASS  CARDBOARD and CANS but any other non recyclable rubbish you make we ask you to take away with you.

Please remember after we leave the animals return so even small amounts of litter matter.

Last year the only evidence of our event when we left was some slightly scorched grass .

This is one of the reasons we are allowed to use this beautiful site and we  thank you for helping us keep the field clean, tidy and safe.

PLEASE HELP US LEAVE NO TRACE

BBQ and Fire Pits

Please keep all BBQs off the ground to avoid burning the grass.

A larger central fire pit will be lit in the entertainment area but small fire pits are also allowed as long as they are off the grass.

Please bring your own wood or purchase some on site.

DO NOT forage in the hedges for fire wood.
