Woolacombe Weekender 24

Woolacome Weekender is back for 24 with a brand new site!!!

Woolacombe Weekender is all about meeting new people, having fun whilst enjoying the water sports we all love.

Our new campsite is even closer to the beach and sits in an ideal location to explore North Devon’s famous beaches. Saunton Sands,Crow Point, Croyd, Putsborough and Woolacombe beach all offer a selection of different conditions for kite, Surf or foil adventures and the northern coast offers excellent SUP opportunities to discover hidden coves and beaches rarely visited. What ever the conditions there is always an adventure to be had.

After a hard day at the beach head back to camp and check out the trade stalls and catch up with the brands before tucking into some food and joining the rest of the crew in our big top marquee for two nights of partying.

Buccaneer Sessions is the free App that connects you to the amazing locations we kitesurf, wing, sail and ride

Just down the road from our old site the new venue is at the top of the hill directly above Woolacombe beach. This site provides an almost 180 degree view of the ocean. The site looks down on Baggy point, Woolacombe and Morthoe and out in the distance Lundy Island and the southern coast of Wales can be seen easily on a clear day.
The campsite is open for Guests from 12pm Friday until 6pm Sunday

The site will be signposted locally. the easiest way to find us is to search for
"WEST Kiteboarding Woolacombe Weekender"
in Google maps or copy and paste the link.

We have toilets on site but NO SHOWERS !!

We DO NOT have facilities to empty chemical toilets this year please DO NOT empty your chemical toilets into the Portaloo’s on site.

We have taps on site with water for washing but NOT FOR DRINKING please bring drinking water with you.

Drinking water WILL be available to buy on site.

We will be erecting several marquees to cope with the glorious sunshine we have ordered for the weekend. The marquees will have more than enough space to provide shelter from the traditional August weather.

Music from a team of DJs and live acts will be hosted in the event marquee during the evening

The site is part of a working farm so we ask you all to keep to the very few rules we have to help us ” leave no trace” and to ensure we all have a great weekend.

The ticket price includes your camping/campervan pass

There is loads of room for camping but we ask you to keep a five meter gap between tents/campervans in case of fire. You are free to camp wherever you like in the field but pick your spot wisely.

We will have a quiet area for those of you who fancy an early night or have young families. We will also have a naughty area for those of you who believe sleeping is cheating. Please ask one of the crew when you arrive for the best spot to suit your needs.

Caravans and motor homes are welcome, however,  the access to the field is quite tight so if your vehicle is bigger than a Sprinter or Crafter please get in touch with us before you arrive.

Evening entertainment

We will have miusic from a selection of DJs and live acts accross the weekend

Full line up to be announced closer to the time

Dogs are welcome on site but please be aware we are camped on farm land and livestock is likely to be in the surounding fields, also other dogs and young children will be at the event. Dog owners are expected to clean up after their animals.

As dog owners you know if your dog can be trusted but any issues with dogs will be delt with swiftly and they will be asked to leave.

Please keep your dog on a lead at all times while on site

Please use the dog bins provided across the site.

Recycling and Rubbish

Recycling bins will be provided across our site. Please help us limit our impact on the environment by sorting your waste.

Glass is not allowed on site this year. Please do not bring glass with you to site.

Any waste that cannot be recycled we ask you to take home with you.

Please remember after we leave the animals return so even small amounts of litter matter.

Last year the only evidence of our event when we left was some slightly scorched grass .

The care our guests have taken of the old site is one of the reasons we have been allowed to use the new site, and we thank you for helping us keep the field clean, tidy and safe.
